We have another amazing, hardworking, and talented employee to honor with the Spirit of the Stoodio Award. How lucky are we that we get to work with so many awesome people? (Really, really lucky) This time we’re celebrating Matt Singer. Here’s a poem in his honor:

This buddy always works hard

Even when the workload’s insane

He’s always calm and professional

Except maybe at a Dodgers game

A leader and a father

Full of surprises too

Did you know that he worked

on The Golden Girls in 1992?

When it comes to solving problems

He’s quite the gunslinger

Spirit of the Stoodio

goes to Mr. Matt Singer

Every so often we honor the fine people who work with us at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios with a highly prestigious award known as the Spirit of the Stoodio Award. This award is a symbol of how hard our amazing employees work every day. The latest recipient of this award is none other than Mike Mangan. To honor Mike, here’s a poem that truly captures his essence. Enjoy.

He holds the highest score on Galaga
In the Stoopid Buddy kitchen
He’s a freakin pinball wizard
And all his cuts are bitchin’

Although he loves bad action movies
Like Krull and Highlander 2
He works his tail off on all projects
And will always be nice to you

When it comes to post
His skillz be bangin’

Spirit of the Stoodio
Goes to Mr. Mike Mangan

0P5A6835There’s so much happening at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios it can be hard to keep up with everything. This is exactly why we put together a giant team meeting for the whole Stoodio. We called it Buddy Rendezvous! It was a chance for us to talk about all the exciting projects we’re working on, like Robot Chicken Season 9, SuperMansion Season 3, and the debut of a new series: Hot Streets. Over the next few months we’ll be able to reveal even more of the awesome things we have in the works with our whole community, so stay tuned!

Later that day (yes the same day!) we kept the Buddy party going with a Stoopid Buddy film festival, Buddyfest. We screened over 30 of our Buddies’ short films. It was so much fun to see how talented our employees are. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and Disney XD have once again teamed up to bring you some truly spooky shorts. You may recognize these characters from DuckTales, Star vs. The Forces of Evil, and Big Hero 6. Each video takes place at the Haunted Mansion, and features some of the ghosts from the iconic Disneyland Parks’ ride. We loved making these! Check them out!

Last week Stoopid Buddy Stoodios had a Press Day for the Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking. We were very excited to share this episode with so many amazing outlets. Here’s some of the coverage from the event:

And if that wasn’t enough Stoopid Buddy Stoodios news for you, there’s also a brand new trailer for the special.

The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking airs on October 8 at midnight, only on Adult Swim.

Stoopid Buddy Stoodios doesn’t just make some of the most amazing shows and commercials out there, we also make some of the coolest life-size cosplay suits too thanks to our Buddy Builds division. We recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Riot Games and cosplayer Ladee Danger on an amazing cosplay design. League of Legends fans will recognize Sivir and her custom PAX themed suit. If you went to Seattle for PAX West you may have seen this fully functioning costume in action. The team at Buddy Builds had a blast working on this, a big thanks to all those involved!

There’s something that makes Stoopid Buddy Stoodios stand out among the crowd. It helps us create and produce amazing projects. This special “something” is the people we get to work with everyday. We like to honor these hardworking, talented, and vital parts of our team with the Spirit of the Stoodio Award. The latest winner is none other than Mario De Jesus.

And now, a poem…

A diligent leader with a big ole heart

This buddy of ours has been loyal from the start

Look out for his fun side — It’s rare but hearty

If you want to catch a glance, make it out to next year’s holiday party

Beautiful mane of hair and a clipboard in hand

Nothing is impossible under this buddy’s command

He’s our favorite enigma — Mysterious and Abstruse

Spirit of the Stoodio goes to Mario De Jesus

Here at Stoopid Buddy we love to show our appreciation for members of the Stoodio who are always going above and beyond to show their team spirit. Sometimes this means someone who is always there for other artists, or someone who always makes people smile, or even someone who just loves to show off our Stoopid accomplishments on social media. We love seeing people who love being part of this team, and that’s why we have the Spirit of the Stoodio Award.

The most recent winner of this highly coveted* award is none other than Allison Monterosso.

In her honor we present this poem:

This special buddy
Comes from a spot
Where the pace is fast
And the Streets are Hot

She’s been called the engine
That keeps everything going
We make her move buildings
And her smile keeps glowing

She’s friendly, she’s thoughtful
Her work ethic slays
She’s always on top of it
On the busiest of days

You could definitely call her
A 2D virtuoso
Spirit of the Stoodio
Goes to Allison Monterosso

*You want it. Trust.
