Dominion X Level 2 Is Complete, Thanks to the Aokiverse and Shibuya Communities!

It’s not easy to make a 4-minute stop-motion animated short. And it’s REALLY not easy to make a 4-minute stop-motion animated short in only 6 weeks. ESPECIALLY when the plot of the short is being written by the community in real time. But that’s exactly what we did!
Dominion X Level 2, brought to life with help from Steve Aoki and Shibuya, was an interactive experience that gave creative control to community members at every step of the animation process via Producer Passes, which could be obtained by Replicant X NFT holders. We led writers rooms comprised of community members and held weekly votes, which allowed community members to watch the short as it was being animated and decide what our characters would do at pivotal moments. The result was this incredible short, featuring music from Steve Aoki himself and “produced” by community members.
And the best part? This is only the beginning!
